For the Cannes red carpet, Nancy Tyagi “poured my heart & soul into creating this pink gown.”

Mumbai, 18 May Nancy Tyagi, a social media fashion phenomenon from Uttar Pradesh, is the first artist to create a custom costume for the red carpet of the renowned Cannes Film Festival.

Nancy posted a number of joyful photos during her stroll down the red carpet on Instagram.

In a message, she described her pink gown with ruffles as follows: “It seems strange to walk the red carpet at the 77th Cannes Film Festival as a debutante. This 1,000-meter-long, over 20-kilogram pink gown took me thirty days and a lot of love and energy to create. Although the road has been difficult, every minute has been worthwhile. Your love and support have filled me to the brim with happiness and appreciation. This is a dream come true, and I really hope you are as amazed by my invention as I have been motivated by your support. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!”

The well-known short video magazine Brut is sponsoring the content creator, who has 852K followers, on his or her adventure.

Nancy, who was reared in the impoverished Baranwa hamlet in the Baghpat district, said: “Yeh outfit maine khud hi banaya hai, mera dream bhi nahi tha itna bada toh jaha mai aaj khadi hu. A machine with 1,000 meters of cloth may be used, right? Bahut khushi ho rahi hai mujhe. My dream was not this large, but here I am now: Kabhi maine socha bhi nahi tha ki aisa bhi ho sakta hai. This costume was produced by myself. It is the product of 1,000 meters of cloth and a month’s worth of laborious effort. I’m overjoyed since I never imagined anything like this would occur.”

Her work is distinguished by a fusion of ancient Indian methods with contemporary aesthetics, demonstrating her profound admiration for her cultural heritage. She is well-known for her distinctive style and inventive design.
