“I’m His Supporter, Not Enemy”: Rajinikanth Regarding Speculations About A Potential Rivalry With Thalapathy Vijay

Superstar Rajinikanth is renowned for both his modest demeanor and superstar status. This was once again shown by a recent instance. Recently, Rajinikanth resolved the months-long conflict that had been between him and Thalapathy Vijay. Rajinikanth ended the two-person fan battle during the audio premiere of his next movie, Lal Salaam. He made it clear that the crow-eagle scenario he spoke at the Jailer audio event was not an insult to Thalapathy Vijay during the audio presentation of the movie, which took place in Chennai on January 26. According to Rajinikanth, he would only ever be Thalapathy Vijay’s supporter and never his rival.

Rajinikanth spoke on the social media backlash that followed his remarks after the release of the Jailer tape. “The crow and eagle story was interpreted differently,” he remarked. Many people told stories on social media that it was directed against Vijay. It really is disheartening. He continued by stating that he had seen Vijay mature. Filmmaker SA Chandrasekar first introduced him to Vijay when he was thirteen years old. He went on to add, “He requested me to advise Vijay to prioritize his education. I told him to finish his education.

Vijay is at the top now solely due of his discipline, skill, and efforts, according to Rajinikanth, who praised Vijay’s hard work. “It makes me sad to hear that there is competition between us,” he said. Vijay has said that he is his rival, and I have also said as much. He asked the supporters to cease making comparisons, saying it is impolite for anybody to assert that they are rivals.

The next film Lal Salaam, which is being directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth, is scheduled to have an extended cameo appearance by Rajinikanth. Vikranth and Vishnu Vishal play the main roles in the movie. On September 9, 2024, it is scheduled to open in theaters.
