In “MasterChef India,” Chef Hussain Shahzad adds a twist with the TIP challenge

Chef Hussain Shahzad will be a guest judge on an upcoming edition of the online culinary program “MasterChef India,” which will give the mystery box challenge a new twist. He will allow home cooks to participate in the TIP Challenge. TIP is an acronym for Presentation, Ingredient, and Time.

There are many different components in the mystery box that are part of the challenge. Every home chef is given a certain amount of time, between 55 and 100 minutes, to prepare their dishes. In this episode, home chefs must make calculated decisions as Chef Ranveer Brar reveals each ingredient one at a time.

There’s a twist, though: the competitor faces a time penalty equal to the quantity of components they choose to leave out of their mystery boxes, making it an even more competitive battle against the clock.

Chef Hussain Shahzad said, “Bringing the TIP Challenge to MasterChef India kitchen made for a memorable experience,” in reflection on the Time, Ingredient, and Presentation Challenge. It put to the to each contestant’s quick thinking, time management skills, and ability to create a meal that really stood out. The kitchen was noisy and bustling. In the little amount of time offered, the food were quite amazing.

Cooking under the stress of time deduction was definitely difficult, according to Kriti Dhiman, who chose the mystery package with 90 minutes to spare. I had to manage time, ingredients, and presentation as the clock was ticking. My skills were really put to the test as I adjusted to a high-stakes cooking setting.

“It’s no small feat to balance time, choose the right ingredients, and make sure the presentation meets MasterChef India’s high standards,” Suraj Thapa said. I will carry that experience with me throughout my culinary endeavors.

You can watch “MasterChef India” on Sony LIV.
