Dhanush unveiled the first look poster for Raayan on February 19. It showed Dhanush, Sundeep, and Kalidas standing in front of a food truck with bloodied aprons, and they had sharp objects in their hands.

In addition to Raayan, Dhanush is working on an unnamed project with Telugu filmmaker Shekhar Kammula. In addition, Dhanush is directing Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, a romantic comedy, which is his third project.
