Recently, Aamir Khan shared a familiar parenting challenge. Notwithstanding his prominence in the film business, Aamir voiced his displeasure with his kids’ unwillingness to follow his guidance, expressing a view that many Indian parents share.
In an open conversation with presenter Kapil Sharma, Aamir shared his worries that his children aren’t following his advise. He thought about how generations have changed; parents who formerly expected their kids to appreciate their knowledge now discover that their words don’t appear to have the same effect.
During a tale regarding his buddy Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger Shroff’s movie debut, Aamir revealed the irony of colleagues asking him for help while his own kids were resisting.He said how his experiences were so different from Tiger’s that Jackie had urged him to meet Tiger prior to his debut.
Even his bright sisters and even his own children, Aamir expressed dismay that they do not follow his advise, despite his reputation for offering insightful counsel to those new to the field. He made the amusing observation that his children just dismiss his advise with a “Papa!” He pointed out that many parents are acquainted with this situation.
Even his sister Farhat, who he thinks is an amazing actress, refuses to listen to his advise to pursue a career in movies, Aamir bemoaned. He acknowledged her skill but also acknowledged that she doesn’t follow his advice, highlighting how hard it is to change those who are closest to you.
