James Lafferty, star of “One Tree Hill,” says he never adapted to becoming famous

California, May 23James Lafferty, star of One Tree Hill, said that despite his first rise to popularity over two decades ago, he “never got used” to it.

“It’s surreal for everybody involved, including me,” the actor said to E! News. In the best manner, I never get accustomed to it.”

The actor recently played a charity basketball game to raise money for cancer with co-stars Bryan Greenberg, Stephen Colletti, Paul Johansson, and Craig Sheffer. According to femalefirst.co.uk, the actor said that being able to reunite with some of his former castmates for the event was such a “gift”.

“It feels great to play a small part in supporting the progress of the foundation,” James said. For us to be dragged back together is the greatest thing. Being able to engage in direct communication with the world’s greatest fans and doing it for a worthy cause means the world to us.

“Just being back in this gym in particular, where we actually shot the show, and being with all the guys who originally played on the Ravens basketball team, it’s surreal and it’s wonderful,” he said.

I haven’t seen a few of these folks in a very long time. I’ve got a few of them. But it’s amazing to be together once again as a group. It is a gift,” he said.
