Jennifer Mistry of TMKOC claims that the producer tampered with the witness in the harassment case

For a very long time, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal has been in the news. Jennifer, who was well known for playing Mrs. Roshan Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, quit the program after 15 years and leveled serious claims of abuse against producer Asit Kumar Modi. The producer is accused to have swayed a witness in the case, she has now admitted in a recent interview.

Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal spoke about the continuing lawsuit in a recent interview. She said that Asit Kumarr Modi tried to sway Gurucharan Singh Sodhi, one of the witnesses.

The actress stated, “Gurucharan is one of the witnesses in my case,” in a statement to ETimes. On June 9, Gurucharan Sodhi abruptly called and asked me to meet with him. When Asit Kumarr Modi attempted to flirt with or act inappropriately with me in Singapore, he was the one who came to my rescue. He prevented him from touching me by standing in between us in a playful, diplomatic manner. This occurred as a result of my previous disclosures of Asit Ji’s behavior. He is well informed.

The context is that in May 2023, Gurucharan personally phoned me and informed me that he would testify in my favor in court, Jennifer said. He had firmly said that he would back me in court but that I should refrain from making public comments. When I went to see him on June 9, he informed me that all of a sudden, on June 8, he had been summoned to office and that all of his unpaid debts from the previous three and a half years had been settled. I knew right away that he would not speak well of me. I kept quiet, but he informed me that he could mediate between Asit Modi and me and persuade us to sit down and talk.

In a previous interview, Asit Kumarr Modi refuted the claims. He reportedly said, “We deny all allegations and have provided the police with our statement,” according to a story in News18. If a FIR has been filed, we are unaware of it. In any event, the subject is being investigated, so more remarks are not appropriate.
