Joju George To Join Bobby Deol, Saba Azad, And Sanya Malhotra In Anurag Kashyap’s Next Film | Details

Bobby Deol and Sanya Malhotra, who previously collaborated on Shah Rukh Khan’s Love Hostel, are scheduled to work together again on Anurag Kashyap’s next movie. Renowned Malayalam actor Joju George, who is making his Bollywood debut, is said to be joining them, according to a Peeping Moon story. Additionally, the cast includes Saba Azad, who gained recognition for her part in the popular Sony LIV series Rocket Boys. In addition to Bobby Deol, all three actors—Sanya, Joju, and Saba—will have significant parts in which their personas are deeply entwined with the story. This project marks the long-awaited collaboration between Bobby and the filmmaker and is adapted from an unpublished novel by Anurag and two other authors.

The narrative’s specifics are yet unknown, although reports indicate it’s a gripping thriller based on a true occurrence. The movie is expected to examine significant topics in Anurag Kashyap’s characteristically honest and unvarnished manner. Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee will split scriptwriting responsibilities for the Nikhil Dwivedi-directed production. In Mumbai, filming got underway on May 14 and is scheduled to end in June 2024, with a theatrical release scheduled for later this year.

Sudip Sharma, who is well-known for the films NH10, Udta Punjab, Paatal Lok, and Kohrra, and Abhishek Banerjee, who penned the screenplay for Anushka Sharma’s horror movie Pari in 2018, authored the screenplay for the movie.

Bobby’s calendar for the next year is already fully booked. He is scheduled to feature in Aryan Khan’s first online series, Stardom, and Kunal Kohli’s investigative thriller, “Desi Sherlock,” in addition to his projects in South India and across India. His thriller “Penthouse,” which was directed by Abbas-Mustan, is also eagerly awaited by fans, particularly after Netflix withdrew its involvement and hinted that it would debut on another streaming service.

Bobby Deol, regarded as one of the best performers in the business, has starred in a number of movies, such as Soldier and Barsaat. Due to a string of failures, he took a hiatus from the film business, but Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal marked a spectacular return. Despite having little on-screen time, he received praise for his performance as Abrar ul Haque in the movie Animal.
