Khichdi’s Hansa, according to Supriya Pathak, “is a Part of Me and Will Be With Me Until I Die”

The renowned role will always be a part of veteran actress Supriya Pathak, who is reprising her role as Hansa Parekh in “Khichdi 2 Mission Paanthukistan.” On Wednesday, November 1, the actor was addressing at the trailer premiere press conference for the forthcoming movie Khichdi 2 Mission Paanthukistan. Aatish Kapadia is the director and writer. Pathak, who is also recognized for her roles in the movies Kalyug, Bazaar, Wake Up Sid, and Ram Leela, gave Kapadia credit for putting a lot of effort into developing such a remarkable character.

We are deeply rooted in Khichdi, having practiced it for a very long time. We’ll be able to get into the persona quickly, even if you wake us up in the middle of the night. The 62-year-old actress said, “Atish worked very hard when we were first developing the roles. We worked really hard.

Always dressed in a sari, jewelry, and gajra, Hansa is a sloth who, when faced with English, depends on her equally foolish husband Praful’s (Rajeev Mehta) inaccurate interpretations. The character is also made known by her catchphrases, “Main to thak gayi bhaaishaab” (I’m very exhausted) and “Praful, what is…”

Hansa will always remain a part of me, even when I pass away. Hansa will always be by my side; she won’t be going anywhere. Since we are all enamored with our personalities, it doesn’t seem challenging. Though it requires a lot of labor, it is not tough, said Pathak.

Originally conceived as a theater play, the Khichdi series debuted as a comedy on TV station Star Plus in the early 2000s. In 2005, it received a second season renewal and debuted as Instant Khichdi. Season three, which debuted in 2018, came next. In 2010, the first Khichdi film was released. Pathak uses Hansa as a medication. The only thing I have to do is call Aatish and ask him, “When are we going to do ‘Khichdi,'” if I feel like life isn’t treating me well. The nicest part is that I can refresh myself with Hansa,” the woman said.

“We are always excited to work on Khichdi’s set because we know that all of our worries have been forgotten.” Despite the lengthy and beautiful trip, we are really pleased to be together. I treasure the fact that we have been able to have so much quality time together for so long,” she said.

Khichdi 2 will delve into the peculiar dynamics of the Parekh family, who are determined to bring the imaginary nation of “Paanthukistan” to an end in order to prevent it from upsetting the globe any more. Regular cast members Rajeev Mehta (Praful), Anang Desai (Babuji), Vandana Pathak (Jayshree), Kirti Kulhari (Parminder), and Jamnadas Majethia (Himanshu) will also be making cameo appearances in the forthcoming movie.

Kulhari, who made her screen debut in Khichdi (2010), expressed uncertainty about her ability to play a lighthearted character after her involvement in a number of dramatic motion pictures. “Khichdi is dear to me; that’s where I began.” I said, “I’m Parminder, and I’ll handle it.” After 12 years with Khichdi 2, here I am. I was anxious on the first day of filming this time since I work in such a serious field and I’m not sure whether I can handle humor. I thought, I have to do this well. More than the audience, I need to be confident in my acting abilities and feel like I can pull it off. I felt like I possessed Parminder’s spirit after only one or two takes, and I had a fun,” she said.

The crew worked on many iterations of the script until they were happy with Khichdi 2’s plot, according to Majethia, who is also the movie’s producer. This time, we wanted to provide the audience with a lot more entertainment. We didn’t create the sequel until we had the perfect screenplay. We’re certain that this movie will keep you all entertained,” he said.

On November 17, the movie is scheduled to open in theaters.
