Nevertheless, a disagreement between the director and Madhuri developed on the first day of filming when Madhuri Dixit objected to performing a sequence in a bra. I told Madhuri the whole scenario, Tinu Anand said. I informed her that because the scenario needed her bra to be visible, she would need to take her top off. ‘I also told her that I wouldn’t hide behind a bush or anything since you are offering yourself to help a guy who is trying to help you,’ she retorted. She then said, “Okay.” Madhuri spent an hour in the makeup room after approving the scenario. She remarked, “I don’t want to do this scene,” as they went to collect her.
