“Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaoon” will be hosted by Padma Bhushan, lyricist and renowned poet Javed Akhtar. He will dig into his vast collection of knowledge to impart fascinating anecdotes about his enchanted partnerships with renowned composers, musicians, singers, directors, and actors.
Javed Akhtar will offer beautiful tales from Hindi cinema music, presented by Saregama Live.
The evening will be filled to the brim with hit songs’ unsung backstories as well as music that inspired remarkable tales.
“With the passage of time, memories gain a certain compelling power and ever so often, I find myself reliving musical sittings, conversations, and moments of serendipity that led to the songs that are now considered iconic,” Javed Akhtar added in reference to the same topic.
“Songs often tell a portion of a movie’s plot, but frequently they also have a backstory, so it will be fun to share some of them with the audience. He said, “This will be a vibrant, free-flowing discussion honoring renowned composers, singers, producers, and actors with whom I have had the pleasure of working closely.”
A live band and singers Meiyang Chang and Jahanvi Shrimankar will combine classic song arrangements with an entrancing voyage of never-before-heard tales.
The Sri Shanmukhananda Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi auditorium in Mumbai will host it on December 29.
