Makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Still Owe Shailesh Lodha Money: Report

In April 2022, Shailesh Lodha, a television actor, left the popular program "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah," disappointing fans. Even while the actor stayed silent, it was clear from his Instagram pictures and interview that things were not going well between him and the producers.

An article claims that the producers have not paid the actor's debts from more than a year ago. "The show's producers still haven't paid Shailesh from more than a year ago. It's close to six figures, I believe. For over a year, he has been patiently waiting for the producers to pay his debt. But Asit Kumarr Modi, the producer, isn't listening, according to a source reported by Hindustan Times.

According to the story, the actor departed the program after a disagreement with the showrunner because he felt mistreated: "He felt disrespected and left the show without warning. Since then, Shailesh has kept a respectful quiet, according to the source cited by the magazine.

Neha K. Mehta's Rs 30–40 lakh are reportedly still pending producer approval. In the program, Neha portrayed Anjali.

Shailesh previously read words from Bashir Badr during an interview with Siddharth Kannan when questioned about his reason for leaving. "Yun hi koi bevafa nahi hota, kuch toh majbooriyan rahi hongi" People don't leave without a cause, therefore there must be one. Not that I won't say why I quit the program, either. I'll speak out, but only when it's appropriate, he stated in the interview.

Shailesh also discussed his devotion to the program after spending 14 years working on it. There is no denying that since we Indians have strong emotions, we tend to get connected to everything. I have strong emotions. I even refer to myself as an emotional moron. I'm an emotional fool. Being attached is normal. And if you act in any way for 14 years, something will transpire, he assured Siddharth Kannan.

Shailesh Lodha has been replaced by Sachin Shroff in the program.
