Meena Sagar, a Drishyam actress, addresses unfounded rumors of a second marriage

Meena Sagar, an actress, needs no introduction. She gained recognition for her roles in movies like Muthu, Annaatthe, and the Drishyam series, to mention a few. However, the actress has taken a long break from the big screen. The abrupt death of her spouse, Vidyasagar, a software engineer, on June 28, 2022, is the cause.

Meena is furious over rumors of her second marriage and is slowly getting over her devastating loss. The actress recently provided an honest response to the circulating rumors about her second marriage, which is now attracting a lot of attention.

The actress said, “Such baseless rumors have made me and my family members sad,” in a recent interview with the media. Information should no longer be published by the media without first being confirmed.

“I don’t have any plans to get married again right now,” she said. The rumors around it are untrue, and nobody should believe them. She continued by saying that her job is her present priority. Meena went on to say that she is now acting in one Malayalam film and one Tamil film. She is also working on a web series in addition to this.

But this isn’t the first time; the actress was previously in the news for rumors of a second marriage. Social media has been the source of these rumors ever since her spouse passed away.

According to rumors, Meena’s family was pressuring her to get married again so that her daughter, Nainaka, would have a stable future. Additionally, there was conjecture that Meena’s family had finalized her marriage to a guy who is a family acquaintance. Meena subsequently addressed the rumors about her second marriage, however, and put a stop to them.

Meena has acted in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada movies. One of the most sought-after actresses in the film business in South India is her. Meena started her professional career in 1982 as a child performer in Sivaji Ganesan’s film Nenjangal. Later, she starred with Rajendra Prasad in a major role in the 1990 film Navayugam.

But it was her role opposite Rajkiran in the 1991 film En Rasavin Manasile that gave her her major break. Her most recent appearance was in Prithviraj Sukumaran’s comedy-drama Bro Daddy in Malayalam.
