Mission Raniganj Trailer: In This Jaswant Singh Gill-Inspired Story, Akshay Kumar Fights Against Time To Save Miners
After the success of “OMG 2,” Akshay Kumar is getting ready to make a comeback on the big screen with his movie “Mission Raniganj.” The movie is based on a true event that happened in the Raniganj Coalfield and chronicles the tale of the late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill, who was instrumental in saving all of the workers who were still alive when a flood trapped them inside a Raniganj coal mine in November 1989. In addition to Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra plays the protagonist in the film.

In terms of his professional life, Akshay Kumar most recently appeared alongside Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in “OMG 2.” The main character of “OMG 2” is Kanti Sharan Mudgal, a devout follower of Lord Shiva, whose kid gets expelled from school due to alleged immoral behavior.
