Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Priya Bapat will star in a 1990s-themed Hindi thriller film

With her next, as of yet unnamed Hindi film, Marathi actress Priya Bapat is slated to go back in time to the wonderful age of the 1990s thriller flicks, costarring with Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

The actress, who is most known for her parts in the critically and commercially successful Marathi movies “Kaksparsh” and “Happy Journey,” underwent extensive training workshops and intense pre-production work because the character she played is a strong, formidable woman.

“I was excited to be a part of this gripping thriller since the day I heard the narration,” Priya said, describing her role in detail. “Working alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui was the add-on.”

“The script is captivating, and the 1990s setting adds an extra layer of nostalgia,” she said. Collaborating with Nawazuddin is a continuous educational process, and we are excited to bring this captivating tale to life.”

“I am thrilled Priya Bapat came on board,” director Sejal Shah remarked, describing the synergy between the two performers. Priya is an amazing performer who gives characters life by being real. Her on-screen chemistry with Nawaz is new and distinct.

The film is now filming in Mumbai, with a 40-day shoot planned. Writer Bhavesh Mandalia, a National Award winner, has written a script that is sure to take viewers on a thrilling, dramatic, and sentimental voyage.

Sejal Shah and Vinod Bhanushali are the directors of this classic thriller, which is modeled around thrillers from the 1990s but with a contemporary twist. The thriller, which is not yet named, is a production of Bhanushali Studios Limited and Bombay Fables. Producers Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Sejal Shah, and Bhavesh Mandalia are involved.
