On her newly re-recorded compilation album, “Revamped,” Demi Lovato will rock out

With a new re-recorded collection LP called “Revamped,” including rock renditions of her best songs, pop sensation Demi Lovato is now prepared to rock ‘n roll.

On September 15, the album is scheduled to be released.

According to Billboard, the news follows the publication of her updated version of her 2017 album “Sorry, Not Sorry,” in which she went full rock with the tracks and collaborated with Slash of the venerable hard rock band Guns N’ Roses.

The songs “Sorry,” “Heart Attack (Rock Version),” “Cool For the Summer (Rock Version),” and other previously published songs are all reimagined with strong guitar parts for the album.

A brief teaser video promoting the newly updated rock renditions of “Sorry,” “Summer,” and a heavy rendition of “Heart Attack” was released with the announcement.

Taking to social media, Lovato captioned the video with the following statement: “Reviving the songs that were so crucial to the development of my career has brought me closer to my music than ever before. ‘REVAMPED’ is something I can’t wait for you to hear.

In a press statement, Lovato stated: “With ‘Revamped,’ I wanted to pay homage to the songs that connected with fans the most and had a significant impact on my career by giving them an exhilarating new life.”

“Working on this project has been a ton of fun and has given me a fresh outlet to express my love of rock music. As a result, I feel lot more connected to my earlier songs. I’m eager for everyone to learn more, she continued.

On her 2022 tour in support of the ‘Holy Fvck’ album, the singer started playing the guitar-driven rock versions of her songs featured on ‘Revamped’, reverting to her early pop-rock and pop-punk beginnings.
