The pair dated for almost five years before being married on December 11 in Tuscany, Italy, in 2017. According to reports, Kohli and Anushka got to know one another while filming a TV commercial and hit it off right away.

They quickly became friends and went on several dates, and before either of them realized it, they were deeply in love. They entered the nuptial chamber, breaking their silence about the relationship after years of being the most talked-about pair in rumors.
