Pamela Anderson: The only man who treats me with respect is Hugh Hefner

The late Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, according to actress Pamela Anderson, is the only guy to treat her with "full and absolute respect."
According to femalefirst.co.uk, the "Baywatch" actress has discussed how the late Playboy founder's offer to have her appear on the cover of his magazine assisted her in reclaiming her sexuality.
Pamela said, "Hugh Hefner," when asked whether anybody "had ever treated her with total and absolute respect."
The 55-year-old celebrity made a record 14 appearances on the Playboy cover, but since Hefner passed away at the age of 91 in 2017, reports of abuse from the Playboy house have tarnished his image.
After initially appearing on the Playboy cover in 1990, Pamela, who has been married to Tommy Lee, Kid Rock, Rick Salomon, Jon Peter, and Dan Hayhurst, rose to fame and said that the experience helped her gain confidence.
She remembered: "I detested the awful shyness I had. I did it for that reason. I just didn't want that sensation any longer. My first picture session opened up a little window for me into what it was like to be a sensuous lady. My sexuality belonged to me. I reclaimed my authority."
In her recently published memoir, "Love, Pamela," the actress admitted that she put on 25 pounds while writing it.
According to Pamela, whose life story is also included in the newest Netflix documentary "Pamela, a Love Story," "While writing the book, I went through a rather wild period. I gained around 25 pounds once I began writing my book—crazy! Because I didn't make many changes when I was writing my book, I can now look back and see how it was part of the book-writing process."
"I mean, I was drinking earlier with the hubby and things, but by the time my book was finished, I had completely lost it. It was really wild! Telling my experience had a bodily response in me. I felt like I was nearly holding onto something. It served as my inflated coat of armor's protection."
"I'm not sure what it was, but I assumed it was some kind of defence. I don't eat a lot, I'm vegan, I eat berries and almonds, so it's not like I was eating anything unusual. However, my body was altering!"
