‘People Have Died,’ Mannara Chopra was criticized for sharing a sensual dance video during the terrifying Mumbai rains
An alumni of Bigg Boss 17 After posting a sexy dancing video in which she relished the rain, Mannara Chopra has been receiving backlash on social media. Mannara posted a video of herself dancing on her balcony on Instagram on Monday. Mannara, dressed in a tank top and jeans, was seen really enjoying Mumbai’s first downpour of the year. The video hasn’t been warmly received by many social media users, however. The video, as many internet users pointed out, is disrespectful, particularly in light of the devastating effects of the Monday rains on the city.

For those who were unaware, Mumbai saw an unexpected downpour. There was an awful dust storm in the city, and then it started to rain. Even though it was only a brief downpour, the city was completely devastated. In addition to uprooting several trees, a huge billboard in Ghatkopar crashed into a gas station, killing 14 people (as of the time of reporting). Mannara posted the video and captioned it, “Enjoying the first rain!!☔️ in between a shoot day #pehlibaarish,” in the midst of this.
Many fan groups and entertainment websites released the footage, and Mannara has been receiving a lot of backlash. Many drew attention to the fact that many others who were driving at the time suffered while she relished the rain on the balcony. “Very bad manners. Not very nice, one remark said. “She is enjoying the death of so many people,” said another social media user. “Dance kar rahi hai log mar Gaye aur (tu),” said an irate user.
Ambala, Haryana, is the hometown of Mannara Chopra. She is the cousin of Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti, two famous Bollywood actresses. Parineeti and Priyanka’s dads are the sisters of Mannara’s mother, a professional jewelry designer. Mannara’s dad practices law. Mitali is the name of her younger sister. She debuted on Bigg Boss 17 and quickly gained widespread recognition. She was one of the final five contestants.
