Prince William and Kate Middleton in The Crown season 6's first photo from the set
The final season of The Crown, which will apparently also detail how Prince William and Catherine Middleton met, is almost ready to air. Meg Bellamy and Ed McVey, actors, will portray the royal couple. On March 17, the actors were seen shooting a scene that seemed to be centered on a probable first date scenario.
While no official release date has been set, The Crown's last season started filming in September 2022 with plans to air it later this year or early next year. Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, and Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II are all scheduled to return for Season 6. During this season, Elizabeth Debicki will return to the role of Diana, Princess of Wales.
According to a British Vogue article, the Netflix series that is now shooting Season 6 purports to replicate Prince William and Kate Middleton's first encounter at St Andrews school in Scotland some time in 2001. Ed McVey and Meg Bellamy play the characters of Prince William and Kate Middleton. They began dating in 2003.
Tabloids have chronicled Prince William and Kate Middleton's romance from its infancy. They were married on April 29, 2011, at Westminster Abbey, after being engaged in November 2010. Prince George of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales, and Prince Louis of Wales are their three children together.
Princess Diana accepted an invitation to spend time with Mohamed Al-Fayed in St. Tropez when Season 5 of The Crown came to a conclusion in 1997. Season 6 will follow Princess Diana and her lover Dodi Fayed through the years leading up to her death. Elizabeth Debicki was seen wearing an animal print bikini in previous pictures from the shoot that seemed to be an identical duplicate of the one Princess Diana wore when on vacation with Dodi Fayed in the Mediterranean only weeks before she passed away.
Prince Harry has accused Prince William of physically beating him after disparaging his wife, Meghan Markle, in his biography Spare. During a ceremony honoring the Commonwealth earlier this month, Prince William was heckled by onlookers outside Westminster Abbey.
