R Madhavan: ‘Surreal And Flattering’ Regarding Getting A Rousing Welcome At A QNET Event

The Bollywood actor R Madhavan was present at QNET’s flagship yearly event, the V Malaysia Convention 2024, held in Penang, Malaysia, recently. On the third day of the conference, he was invited as a special guest. In a video he posted from the occasion, Madhavan showed the audience applauding and cheering. In the footage, the audience at the Setia Spice Arena erupted in thunderous applause when the emcee welcomed the Bollywood actor to the stage. After that, everyone became quiet.

Overwhelmed by the kind greeting, Madhavan wrote, “Oh man, when 7000 people fall quiet. This was very touching and bizarre at the same time. Thank you to all of the young people. “All the love is right back at you. This has become such a huge responsibility and motivation.”

The event’s official account also posted pictures from the occasion. Madhavan is seen wearing identical pants and a beige jacket with a white t-shirt underneath. To finish the outfit, he chose white sneakers. “Everyone will succeed to some extent. However, the achievement attained under the guidance of a kind, trustworthy, and passionate leader is what will really count. On Day 3 of V-Malaysia 2024, renowned Indian actor, director, writer, and producer R. Madhavan graces the V-Convention stage!,” the caption on the image said.

Shaitaan earns accolades for R Madhavan:

Following the success of his most recent film, Shaitaan, R Madhavan is getting a lot of praise from viewers for his portrayal of the scary antagonist. The actor received a lot of appreciation from fans despite playing a bad part; some even said he was better than Ajay Devgn.

Shaitaan, which debuted in theaters on March 8, is now available for streaming on Netflix and other OTT platforms. The streaming behemoth posted on Instagram, saying, “Ghar ke darwaze band rakhna, kahi Shaitaan na aa jaye, Shaitaan starts streaming at midnight on Netflix!”

Ajay Devgn, Jyothika, and R. Madhavan play the key characters in this Vikas Bahl-directed version of the Gujarati movie Vash. It narrates the tale of a black magic practitioner holding a family captive in their own house. The tension in the movie increases as the antagonist reveals his plans to kidnap Janki Bodiwala, the family’s daughter. At the box office, the movie brought in around Rs 150 crore in India and over Rs 200 crore worldwide.
