Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone Celebrate “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” Fans call it the’reunion we really needed’ as the group turns ten

On Wednesday, the cast of “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,” an Ayan Mukerji film, gathered to commemorate the film’s tenth anniversary. Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Kalki Koechlin, and Aditya Roy Kapur joined forces in a series of photos shared by Ayan to strike a similar posture to the movie’s poster.

Along with other members of the film crew, another group portrait includes director Karan Johar, fashion designer Manish Malhotra, musician Pritam, and actor Kunal Roy Kapur. “Last night” was Ayan’s caption for the pictures. “Doston ke beech kabhi kuch nahi badalta, guys #10YearsOfYJHD #YehJawaaniHaiDeewani,” said the tweet from Dharma Productions.

Soon after, admirers remarked on the pictures with the phrase “The REUNION we actually needed ” Someone another said, “Made my day. This is unquestionably the finest item on my feed today.

In the meanwhile, Ranbir was asked to select one of his films that “would make a good sequel” in a previous virtual discussion with his fans. Back then, he said, “I think Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani would make a good sequel.” He said, “I recall that Ayan too had a really lovely narrative before embarking on this Brahmastra adventure. Never say never, however. Maybe in a few years he’ll succeed.”

Ayan posted about the movie’s 10th anniversary earlier in the day, saying, “YJHD – My second kid, a piece of my heart and soul – 10 years old today! After all these years, I believe I can declare with certainty that… One of the biggest thrills of my life was making this movie! And I will always be really proud of what we accomplished with it, despite all of its flaws. Strangely, from the day Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was launched, I don’t believe I’ve ever watched it completely from beginning to finish. (Always moving on and not taking enough time to reflect…!) But when I’m older and wiser, I believe I’ll watch the film at least once a year since it so perfectly captures who I was and how I saw the world.

When it was first aired, “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” demonstrated that it was a coming-of-age narrative and was adored by the public.
