Ratna Pathak and Rupali Ganguly lead the celebration as Sarabhai Vs. Sarabhai turns 19

Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, which aired for 10 years straight before falling off-air, was one of the rarest masterpieces ever made on Indian television. The sitcom was so successful that it was granted a ten-episode revival extension in 2017. Notably, Sarabhai versus. Sarabhai’s debut episode aired on the small screen on November 1, 2004. The original cast of the show enthusiastically commemorated the historic day, which marks its 19th anniversary this year. On Wednesday night, the main cast of Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai got back together for a special meal, and actress Rupali Ganguly didn’t miss the opportunity to offer fans a preview of it on Instagram.

Veteran actress Ratna Pathak Shah, who portrayed the aristocratic mother-in-law Maya Sarabhai, who carried the whole performance on her shoulder, attended the event. Who can forget her snarky comment about Monisha being so middle-class? Satish Shah, who played the calm father-in-law Indravadan Sarabhai, was next in line. The father took great pleasure in challenging his beautiful wife and ruining his son’s life. Additionally, actor Rajesh Kumar, who portrayed Rosesh Sarabhai, Momma’s kid, made an appearance. His mother Maya and speaking terrible poetry to anyone in his vicinity occupied his whole existence.

Last but not least, Rupali Ganguly played Monisha Sarabhai to illustrate the middle oddities. Her and Maya’s witty but sardonic banter was the show’s mainstay and what kept viewers interested for years. Actor Sumeet Raghavan, better known as Monisha’s husband Sahil, was the sole member of the Sarabhai family to go missing.

The cast members now had a brief musical reunion, belting out Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai’s theme song. Their grins were contagious as they swooned and had an amazing day together. “Sarabhai’s debut broadcast occurred on November 1, 2004, at 8:00 p.m. Partners in friendship and familial relationships Sarabhai has always had a special place in my heart, and today is her 19th birthday. Cheers to those wild, gorgeous, and incredible nineteen years! And to commemorate Sarabhai’s magnificent voyage. In the description of their reunion video, Rupali Ganguly said, “Here we are, jamming to our favorite song.”

At the moment, Rupali Ganguly is the main character in the highly regarded Star Plus series Anupamaa.
