Recall the period when Kareena Kapoor said that Abhishek Bachchan will surpass Amitabh Bachchan

One of the most well-known performers in Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan, debuted in the motion picture business in 2000 with JP Dutta’s “Refugee,” costarring Abhishek Bachchan. Along with garnering positive reviews, the movie garnered her a prize for “Best Female Debut.” In a May 2000 interview with Rediff, Kareena discussed her relationship with Abhishek.

When asked to rate Abhishek Bachchan’s performance in the movie “Refugee,” Kareena said, “As an actor, he is better; at least I find him a thousandfold better… He is going to surpass his father, Amitabh Bachchan, who was the greatest. I have no doubts about that. He is one of my best pals and a fantastic guy.
Kareena also recalled her very first “Refugee” scene. “It was a romantic moment between Abhishek and me,” she said. He is a personal friend and member of my family, so we felt right at home right away. From the beginning, there was chemistry.”
Actress Karisma Kapoor, the older sister of Kareena, and Abhishek Bachchan were supposedly engaged to be married for a short while in the early 2000s. The actress was even seen at a few functions with the Bachchan family.
But Karisma and Abhishek decided to separate and get married to other people. Karisma married businessman Sunjay Kapur of Delhi in 2003, while Abhishek married actress Aishwarya Rai in 2007. 2016 saw the couple’s divorce.
