Regarding rumors of Ben Affleck’s divorce, Jennifer Lopez speaks up

At a recent press appearance for her new Netflix movie “Atlas,” Lopez was questioned directly about the lingering rumors of her and her husband’s divorce.

According to E! News, Lopez, who is renowned for her honest style, answered in a way that astounded everyone in the room.

The ‘Mary Me’ actress first laughed off a reporter’s query on the state of her marriage to the Oscar-winning actor.

But then she abruptly became serious, leaned forward, and said, “You know better than that.”

Simu Liu, her co-star on “Atlas,” reportedly rushed to her defense as well, screaming, “C’mon, don’t come in here with that,” according to E! News.

Jennifer Lopez refuted the rumors at the press conference, but she hasn’t kept quiet about her connection with Affleck entirely.

She brought up her spouse in passing during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on May 20, remembering an unforgettable meeting with Barbra Streisand.

According to Lopez, Streisand said, “So that’s a big diamond,” after seeing the engagement ring that Affleck had given her.

Lopez noted how amazed she was by Streisand’s response and that she thought the situation was bizarre.

Lopez also discussed her family, including her 16-year-old twins Max and Emme, whom she and her ex-husband Marc Anthony share.

Laughing, she said, “I do sexy things at home sometimes, but they don’t know that.” She also mentioned how “awkward” it is for her kids to see her perform in bold costumes.

Ben Affleck, however, has not commented on the reports of his divorce. But as they say, actions speak louder than words, and on May 19, he was seen with Lopez, and E! News has verified this. He was also wearing his wedding band.

At the ‘Atlas’ Los Angeles premiere on May 20, Jennifer was also pictured sporting her platinum band.

The pair, who reignited their love and tied the knot in July 2022 in Las Vegas before moving on to a more official wedding a month later in Georgia, have not shown any indications of divorcing.

Fans were devastated by their heartbreaking split in 2004 and first engagement in 2002, which is why their reunion was even more joyous.

It seems that for the time being, the rumors are just that—rumors.
