Response from AR Rahman to concert mishandling; apologies from organizers

During his eagerly awaited performance, “Marakkumma Nenjam,” on Sunday night, music legend A.R. Rahman addressed the commotion and confusion.

In a statement, the event’s organizers, ACTC Events, thanked Rahman for his performance and expressed regret to the fans who were unable to attend their concert because of the difficulties surrounding admittance.

“Grateful to Chennai and the legendary @arrahman Sir!,” said ACTC events in a remark on X (previously Twitter). Our event was a huge success thanks to the tremendous audience and great feedback. We apologize in advance to everyone who was unable to attend due to congestion. We accept full responsibility. #MarakkkumaNenjam “We are with you”

Rahman reposted a letter from a fan thanking him for the wonderful occasion and shared the post without adding any commentary.

It should be emphasized that many fans were enraged when they were denied access to the program location and claimed that the concert was oversold and that the organizers had failed miserably.

At Chennai’s Adityaram Palace, the concert took place. Due to congestion, many fans were dissatisfied and enraged that they couldn’t attend the show.

Fans who had paid Rs 2000 for tickets were also denied entry, and many expressed their displeasure with the event’s poor organization. They also attributed the poor administration to A.R. Rahman’s group.
