Rhea Chakraborty and her family have been given permission by a special NDPS court to go overseas

Permission to go overseas has been given to actress Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik, who has been implicated in a narcotics case after her ex-boyfriend actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away. After Rhea and her family requested permission to go to Thailand for vacation, the Special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act court approved the request on Wednesday, March 6.

The Bombay High Court invalidated the lookout order against Rhea and her brother last month in relation to the actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s purported suicide aid. Rajput was discovered hanged in his suburban Bandra residence on June 14, 2020.
After spending a few days on vacation in Thailand, Rhea Chakraborty and her family will go to Sri Lanka to celebrate Holi.
For the unaware, after the discovery of Sushant Singh Rajput’s body in his flat, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik for their suspected involvement with drug dealers.
In relation to the case, Rhea Chakraborty, her brother, Samuel Miranda, the home manager of Sushant Singh Rajput, and her friend Dipesh Sawant were all taken into custody.

Rhea was given bail in October 2020 after being taken into custody in September 2020 in relation to a CBI narcotics investigation. She has repeatedly refuted the accusations.
