Saiyami Kher: Use caution while using social media; I don’t think it’s important

‘Ghoomer’s’ actress Saiyami Kher, who played a paraplegic athlete, revealed the factors that impacted her acting career and that she doesn’t really care about social media acceptance.

The film, which has an inspirational plot, stars Amitabh Bachchan in a special role with Abhishek Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Saiyami Kher, and Angad Bedi.

‘Ghoomer’ stars Saiyami as Anina Dixit, a gifted cricket player whose aspirations are dashed by a horrific mishap that results in the amputation of her right arm. Her coach, the former test cricketer Paddy (played by Abhishek), helps her become the first-ever one-armed spinner, which helps her qualify for the Indian national squad.

Is the actress, 29, looking for affirmation from her social media presence? IANS was informed by Saiyami that she doesn’t place much stock in social media approbation. I see both the love and hate with a grain of salt. I find the approval I want from my friends and family.”

“I also talk about R. Balki sir and Anurag Kashyap; they are like family.” My directors, close friends, family, and my two acting coaches—whom I constantly turn to—are the people I look up to for approval. Thus, it really stings if people don’t like what I do,” the ‘Choked’ actress said.

She continued, saying, “I don’t spend a lot of time on social media. Naturally, however, I always attempt to make improvements after reading comments on social media and learning certain things. I consider it, make an effort to do better, but it doesn’t really worry me.”

Which industrial trend does she not like? Saiyami stated: “I have never been a fan of this ongoing trend of wearing brand-new clothing to red carpet events and dressing up at airports and gyms. This fad has been going on for a while. I’m hoping that eventually this tendency will stop.”

The ‘Mirzya’ star, in an interview with IANS, revealed the inspirations that have impacted her acting career: “My influences are Adil Hussain and Dilip Shankar.” They serve as my coaches. I have great admiration for Shabana Azmi.”

“Life is what I would affect. Being an actor teaches you the most about life. You must travel, investigate, and have experiences,” she said.

“Ghoomer” demonstrates how individuals can overcome adversity and try again, even in the face of overwhelming obstacles. ‘Ghoomer’, directed by R Balki, is a Hope Film Makers and Saraswati Entertainment production. Zee5 offers streaming for it.
