Salman Khan, according to Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is his only friend in Bollywood and “stood by me even when I screwed up.”

Among the actors with whom Sanjay Leela Bhansali has worked are Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, and Madhuri Dixit. The director, who also happens to be a huge fan of Salman’s performers and the characters he creates, said that he can only see Salman as a friend. In case you missed it, Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt were slated to star in the highly anticipated film Inshallah, directed by SLB. However, in 2019 the project was halted owing to artistic disputes. In a recent interview, the filmmaker finally discussed his relationship with the “Tiger 3” actor.

Salman Khan’s and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s relationship
“I love my actors,” remarked Sanjay Leela Bhansali in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. You should have more than just a friendship with actors; you should love the characters you create as much as your actors. Salman is the only person I still have friendship with.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali said that despite their disagreements, Salman still keeps an eye on him and tells him when he makes errors. Formerly, it was believed that the two collaborated on “Inshallah.” But things didn’t work out, and the film was put on hold. “Even in the event that a project fails, he supports me. He’ll take care of me and give me a call. “Hey, how are you doing?” You’ve made mistakes, you’ve screwed up,” he continued.

Bhansali said that Salman Khan will contact him even if things didn’t work out professionally. We could have argued, missed our opportunity, and things didn’t work out at work. However, a month later, we spoke over the phone when I phoned him and he called me. That’s a buddy, then. I’m lucky enough to have a buddy who, once every six months, will pick up just where we left off in that regard,” he said.
