Saurabh Sachdeva: I often do Abrar’s well-known entrance stride from Animal to help me focus

In a scene that epitomized the visual style of the film Animal, actor Saurabh Sachdev—who portrayed Abid, the brother of Abrar (Bobby Deol)—reveals that he was responsible for crafting the iconic hook step for his entrance. It was a really thrilling time. There were several individuals there, including Bobby, who was in the room. I was very anxious because he was looking so good in his white shirt,” Sachdev remembers.

“I just entered the room and began my daily practice there to help me focus on the present. I began by asking, “How am I feeling?” I answered continuously until I got to the cameras. Then it occurred to me that I was not paying attention to the background music. When I turned to face Sandeep and Bobby, I could see that they were discussing the steps. When they asked, I said, “Let’s do this.” They were both quite excited about it and willing to participate. “Aur kya karta tu?” Bobby asked. That way, you can’t go back and tread on someone else’s toes. He continued to hold the glass over my head, and it was his decision to do so. “Thank God I cast you,” Sandeep Sir exclaimed to me. At that moment, he remarked, “Come on, you too dance.”

Sachdev discusses the step’s viral videos and emphasizes the song’s genuine, natural feel. “I never thought that this would get viral. Not to offend anybody, but thank God that iss gaane ke liye koi choreographer nahi tha. A kid or an old person, ispar acha hi lagta hai, koi bhi agar halka sa bhi move kare. The song is lovely because of its organic and natural feel. a basic move that everyone can do; you can even design your own move. I had no idea that this song could become viral so quickly,” the 45-year-old remarks.

The actor from Bambai Meri Jaan says the reception to the movie, Animal, has been tremendous as it breaks records every day: “The response has been very beautiful and powerful.” People are liking my act and find it enjoyable. I am appreciative of the current situation. I never thought it would become that popular and smash so many records.

Sachdev says of any potential follow-up to Animal Park, “I had a little bit of an idea, but didn’t know for sure.” The producers were unsure about our direction when I spoke with them. That is a possibility, as stated by Sandeep (Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga), but first, let’s see how things work out. It was verified for me when I noticed “coming soon” in the hallway. I’m hoping to be there while I wait.

“I had the same experience with Sacred Games; writing began, and I was thrilled, but then nothing happened, so I was like, ‘What?'” (Kukoo par next season hoga). I’m not waiting for that right now, but we’ll see,” he continues.
