Shailesh Lodha’s “Kaavitao Se Badkar Kuch Bhi Nahi” is an expression of his love for poetry

Shailesh Lodha is a well-known actor and writer. His portrayal of Taarak Mehta in the popular comedy Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has made him well known. Shailesh was recently seen talking briefly with the paparazzi about the influence of lyrical rhymes at the Mumbai airport.

At the airport in Mumbai, Shailesh Lodha was seen waving to the photographers stationed there. “Aapka hi video dekh rahe, aapki kavitayen, pankti, dosti par (We were watching videos of your poems on friendship),” the paparazzi said to the actor as he approached the entry gate. “Kaavitao se badkar kuch bhi nahi” (There is nothing larger than poetry), the actor said with a grin. In order to combat the heat, Shailesh Lodha was seen sporting blue pants and a white hooded T-shirt, along with tinted sunglasses.

From 2008 until 2022, Shailesh Lodha worked on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He allegedly quit the comedy in 2022 because of an argument with producer Asit Modi. Shailesh Lodha said in an interview a while ago that Asit Kumar Modi’s behaviour was the reason he quit the program. “I could not tolerate the way he spoke to me,” the actor said to Lallantop. A show is not created by one individual but by a group of people working together. On February 17, 2022, I wrote him to let him know that I would prefer not to have the program continue. Shailesh went on to say that he was denied money despite the fact that he kept filming for the program. He said that he was forced to resign because the developers even persuaded him to sign a document that he believed would restrict his rights. “The issue was never about money or payment, but rather about his offensive speech,” he said. The settlement was completed, and I had to appear in court.
