Susan Downey and Robert Downey Jr. are celebrating their 18th anniversary of being married
Celebrating 18 years of marriage with his wife Susan Downey, Hollywood actor Robert Downey Jr. To commemorate their wedding anniversary, the Iron Man actor, 58, recently posted two pictures of himself and his 49-year-old film producer wife.
According to ‘People’ magazine, the actor can be seen tenderly rubbing his forehead against Susan’s face in the first picture, which was shot during the couple’s 2005 wedding when she is carrying a bouquet of pink and white flowers and wearing a silk wedding gown.
In the second image, which is a recreation of their wedding shot, Susan is holding a bouquet of yellow sunflowers while Susan is holding a white T-shirt and Downey is once again seen pushing his face to hers. “After 18 years, love is still blooming!” In his Instagram post, Downey wrote.
On their wedding anniversary, a number of well-known acquaintances offered the couple their best wishes. “These are Robert’s greatest pictures yet! Love you both!!!!,” tweeted Jeremy Renner, who plays Hawkeye. Paul Bettany, Downey’s co-star, responded, “Lots of love dearhearts,” while singer-songwriter Skylar Grey added, “Love this.”
Avri, 8, and Exton, 11, are Downey and Susan’s children; the actor also has a son, Indio, 29, with his former wife Deborah Falconer.
After complimenting his ‘Oppenheimer’ co-star Cillian Murphy’s performance in the blockbuster film, Downey sent a message of thanks for his wife. Oppenheimer, a scientist during World War II, was credited as the “father of the atomic bomb” and was in charge of the American attempt to develop an atomic weapon.
