The highly anticipated new anime film ‘A Few Moments of Cheers’ is set to release in the summer of 2024!

As ‘A Few Moments of Cheers’ (Suufunkan no Yell yo), a stunning addition to the 2019 anime program, is officially revealed, the anime world is abuzz with excitement. This original anime film, which is scheduled to premiere in the summer of 2024, promises to be a masterful fusion of visually stunning storytelling and poignant imagery.

The narrative takes place in the gorgeous scenery of Ishikawa Prefecture, where Natsuki Hanae’s character, Kanata Asaya, a passionate high school student with a penchant for making music videos, first appears.
A chance meeting with Yu Orie (voiced by Mariya Ise), a teacher who has grudgingly given up on her artistic ambitions, sets off Kanata on her path into the world of music videos.

The film’s producers, Hurray! and 100studio, took a novel approach to making A Few Moments of Cheers, deciding to work together on the project and using Blender, a cutting-edge 3DCG program, as their main production tool. Known for their past work on short-form animations and the final animation sequence for “Shikimori’s Not Just A Cutie,” the Hurray! trio (director Popurika, assistant director Ohajiki, and art director Magotsuki) have taken a big step forward with this collaboration.
Acclaimed for his work on television shows like Sound! Euphonium and Love Live! Superstar!!, Jukki Hanada is in charge of writing the script for this motion picture project. Hanada, the series composer of anime hits like A Place Further Than The Universe and Bloom into You, pledges to craft an engaging story that connects with viewers.
VIVI enters as the maestro responsible for the captivating compositions, adding melodic charm to the movie. Kei Sugawara expertly provides Yu Orie’s singing voice, adding to the emotional depth of the picture.
Distribution has been assumed by Bandai Namco Filmworks, guaranteeing that A Few Moments of Cheers be seen by a large number of people.
