The Margot Robbie-starring Christopher Nolan movie trails behind in India, according to the Oppenheimer Vs. Barbie BO Collection

One of the most eagerly anticipated movies of 2023, “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer,” have already been shown in theaters. Although the two movies are from different genres, they are both doing very well at the box office. But in India, “Oppenheimer” is the film that dominates the box office, but “Barbie” also does well there.

Barbie Box Office Earnings: According to the website Sacnilk, “Barbie” earned Rs 2.50 crore on day 4 according to an early estimate. The movie made Rs 7.15 crore on day three, bringing its total box office receipts to Rs 21.15 crore.

Box office revenue for Oppenheimer:

“Oppenheimer” has made over Rs 50 crore at the box office, according to the website Sacnilk, and on day 4 it took in an estimated Rs 7 crore. It has already earned Rs 55 crore at the box office.

As for Barbie:

Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie play Barbie and Ken, respectively, in the movie “Barbie.” Issa Rae, Alexandra Shipp, Ana Cruz Kayne, and Emma Mackey also appear in the film. In addition to Scott Evans, Nicola Coughlan, Dua Lipa, Kate McKinnon, Hari Nef, Sharon Rooney, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, and others.

Greta Gerwig admitted to being petrified before directing “Barbie” in an interview with The Guardian. It is not a superhero with an established backstory. There was a strong sense that it would be adapted. However, the adaptation we were doing was of a doll, a symbol of the 20th century, she remarked.

She said, “It felt complicated enough, sticky enough, strange enough that maybe there could be something interesting there to be discovered.” She said this in an interview with The Guardian. I sort of vacillated between loving this and finding it intolerable if someone else made it. And they won’t ever let us to shoot this movie.

Regarding Oppenheimer:

Robert Oppenheimer was questioned about the Bhagavad Geeta in an interview with Sucharita Tyagi, and Cillian Murphy said he studied the holy text as part of his research.

“I did study the Bhagavad Gita in preparation, and I found it to be a really lovely and uplifting work. He probably needed it and it gave him a lot of comfort throughout his life, so I believe that was a consolation for him,” he added.

An R rating has been assigned to the film. Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett, Casey Affleck, Rami Malek, and Kenneth Branagh all have significant parts in the film, which also stars Cillian Murphy in the title character.
