It’s interesting how this news surfaced just as The Vaccine War by Vivek Agnihotri’s buzz began to pick up. Internet users have been wondering who would win this competition at the box office.

Prabhas will play a mobster in Salaar, with Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran playing the bad guy. Additionally playing important parts in the movie are Jagapathi Babu, Shruti Haasan, and Teenaa Anand. The movie will be released across India.

200 crore rupees were allegedly spent on the production of the movie. Additionally, a sequel to the movie is reportedly already in production. According to a report in the Hindustan Times, Jagapathi Babu’s character would get greater screen time in the next installment of the series.

The last time we saw Prabhas was in the movie Adipurush with Kriti Sanon. The movie’s language and visual effects were panned despite its effort to reenact the Ramayana. The movie didn’t do well at the box office.

Additionally, Prabhas will appear in Kalki 2989, directed by Nag Ashwin, with Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan.
