The Whiz Kid from Haryana Wins Rs. 1 Cr. in “KBC 15”

On the quiz-based reality program “Kaun Banega Crorepati 15,” eighth-grader Mayank made history by being the youngest youngster to win one crore rupees.

Mayank, a resident of Mahendragarh, Haryana, earned one crore points during the “KBC Juniors Week.”

The show’s emcee, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, was enthralled by Mayank’s humor and intellect and was amazed by the child with ease.

“Which European cartographer is credited with creating the map that gave the name ‘America’ to the newly discovered continent?” was the question posed to Mayank for one crore.

A: Abraham Ortelius, B: Gerardus Mercator, C: Giovanni Battista Agnese, and D: Martin Waldseemuller were the possibilities offered.

Ask the expert, Martin Waldseemuller, was the right response provided by Mayank, who grabbed the lifeline.

After receiving the enormous sum of money, Mayank broke down in tears and gave the actor and his parents hugs.

“Let me tell the viewers that he is the youngest crorepati winner,” said Big B.

“Sir, I apologize for the interruption, but I wanted to give you a high five,” Mayank said. I’ll make my buddies envious because, sir, even tall people couldn’t give you a high five like I did.

“Subedar N.R. Nikkam and Havildar Gajendra Singh were awarded the Order of the Red Star by Russia for conveying supplies to which city during World War II?” was the question posed to him for seven crore.

A: Tabriz, B: Sidon, C: Batumi, D: Almaty were the available possibilities. Mayank chose to leave the game show and accepted a Rs 1 crore payout.

Tabriz was the right response to the issue about the Rs 7 crore.

Mayank added in a statement, “I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to play the game opposite Amitabh Sir, who motivated me throughout,” and to showcase my expertise during “KBC Juniors Week.”

Being the youngest competitor and receiving such a substantial prize makes my family and I very proud. We like the program and Bachchan, Sir. I also want to take this chance to thank my parents for their unwavering support, which enabled me to perform well on the field and accomplish the one crore achievement,” he said.

Sony broadcasts the program.
