Even though becoming an actress seems glamorous and simple, things are not always that way. Numerous celebrities and performers have spoken out about being insulted on set. On the movie set, one such celebrity had to eat like a snake and was forced to stand on one leg while suffering from a high temperature.

The celebrity in question began her career at the age of thirteen, and after working with several other celebrities, such as Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor, among others, she rose to become the highest-paid actress in the business. She is Jaya Prada, nothing else.

with the Telugu movie Bhoomi Kosam, Jaya Prada made her screen debut with a three-minute dance performance that cost her Rs 10. With that said, she was approached by renowned directors to play parts in high-caliber movies, and she took them. In 1976, she rose to fame and was among the highest-paid Bollywood actresses. Alongside celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, Jeetendra, and Kamal Haasan, among others, she contributed to a lot of successes. In addition, despite being competitors, she had a successful relationship with Sridevi.

The actress, however, described a terrifying incident that happened to her on a movie set when she had to eat like a snake as punishment for being five minutes late. The actress added that it was difficult to film the song “Agni Poolu,” which is part of a D. Ramanaidu production. Jaya said how she felt humiliated when the director asked if she could do the dance during the song’s filming. The music required her to move like a snake. “Tears filled my eyes,” she remembered. But, things did not go well throughout the session.

The actress spoke about her experience on set, saying, “I felt unwell when I went to rehearsals. My temperature was 103. The dancer was an exacting teacher. He punished me by making me stand on one leg for thirty minutes, even though I was only five minutes late. I was feeling bad, so I began weeping. We ultimately began practicing when he realized.”

She went on, “I got awful hairfall and sores on my back from having to move like a snake so much throughout the rehearsals. I would throw up during filming, so I had to eat like a snake. It was difficult. However, once the movie came out, I received a ton of compliments. It was well-received. Thus, it all seemed worthwhile.”
