Tiffany Haddish Was Arrested For DUI Following Her Comedy Show Performance

Tiffany Haddish, an actress and comedian, was allegedly discovered dozing off behind the wheel of her running automobile when authorities discovered her guilty of driving under the influence (DUI).

The 43-year-old celebrity was reportedly handcuffed by police when he was arrested in January 2022 in Georgia following a call that a driver was dozing off on the road. The star was apprehended early on November 24, California, hours after appearing at a comedy show on Thanksgiving.

Page Six was informed by a Beverly Hills Police Department watch commander, “We responded to a call of a vehicle on the roadway at 5.45 this morning,” according to aceshowbiz.com.

He said that the motorist was reported to the police to be “asleep behind the wheel.”

According to further sources cited by Page Six, her automobile was “stopped in lanes of traffic” and had not been moved over to the side, forcing oncoming traffic to avoid her car.

Who called the police and whether it was another motorist on the road is unknown. The watch chief emphasized that there was “no traffic.”

Haddish was supposed to be freed on Friday afternoon, according to the police.

Tiffany seemed compliant as the cops placed her in handcuffs and led her to the back of their car, according to a video that TMZ was able to get. She was spotted sporting black leggings, black shoes, and a flowery red and white top.

Alongside Tim Allen, Paul Rodriguez, Alonzo Bodden, Kira Soltanovich, and Tom Dreesen, she was slated to appear at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood on Thursday, November 23 for its 43rd straight annual free Thanksgiving feast.

Haddish’s car was reportedly pushed into a nearby home’s yard when she was taken into custody by authorities in 2022. Officers allegedly thought the stand-up comedian had been under the influence of marijuana, according to TMZ. Haddish subsequently made jokes about the incident when appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”.

A few weeks after the event, she said, “I can tell this, Jimmy—I’ve been asking God to give me a new guy. A decent guy and I was blessed with four people in uniform by God.”
