Vin Diesel wants to work with Dwayne Johnson again in Fast and Furious 10, will The Rock end the feud?
Action star Vin Diesel has urged actor Dwayne Johnson to reprise his role as Agent Lucas Hobbs in the 10th installment of the Fast and Furious franchise.
In 2016, Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson had a fight during 'The Fate of the Furious'. Since then, there has been a rift between the two action stars. In fact, during the last week of the shooting of 'The Fate and Furious', The Rock questioned Diesel's professionalism by posting on social media. Now Diesel has appealed to Johnson on his Instagram on Sunday to work in the upcoming Fast and Furious franchise.
Diesel shared the post on social media
Diesel wrote on his Instagram post, “My little brother Dwayne… the time has come. The world is waiting for the finale of Fast and Furious. As you know my kids in my house call you Uncle Dwayne. There are no holidays that they don't send you wishes. But the time has come. The legacy awaits. I told you years ago that I would keep the promise I made to Pablo. Diesel affectionately refers to his late friend and co-actor Paul Walker as Poblo.
Diesel further said, I had promised that the finale of 'Fast and Furies 10' would be the best. I am telling you very lovingly. You have to show. You cannot leave the franchisee. Your character is very important. No one can do the character of Hobbs better than you. I hope you will understand my point and work on this part." The actor said that no one else can play Hobbs better than Dwayne Johnson.
Johnson is one of Hollywood's action stars, having appeared in the fifth part of 'Fast and Furious' in 2011 as Diplomate Sciotti Service Agent Lucas Hobbs.
The film will release on 7th April
After this, Johnson did not work in the other three parts of Fast and Furious. Fast & Furious 10 will hit theaters on 7 April 2023. Diesel will play the lead role. Apart from this, Tyrese Gibson, Suh Kang, Chris Ludacris, Bridge Jordana and Michelle Rodriguez are also expected to return. Justin Lin will direct this film.
