Virat Kohli, the star batsman for India, is one of the most well-known cricketers in the world. Fans of Kohli from all over the world would do everything to get the chance to meet him or have dinner with him. But there are those persons even the former captain of India fawns over. In a recent video posted to his social media accounts, Kohli laments that he was unable to meet Lata Mangeshkar, a great vocalist from India.

When asked which historical female person he would most want to have dinner with, Kohli said that Mangeshkar, who is known for having over 30,000 songs recorded in 14 different Indian languages, and it would have been wonderful to meet her. In February 2022, Mangeshkar died.

In the video, Kohli stated, "I never had the opportunity to meet Lataji, so it would have been fantastic to have a chat and learn a little bit more about her life and about her journey."

The famous athlete was also asked additional intriguing questions, and he answered to each one. When asked who in history he would want to be marooned on an island with, he hesitated before mentioning boxing great Muhammad Ali.
