Naga Shaurya explained his decision to act in “Rangabali” to India Today by saying, “I had four failures portraying a romantic hero thus I am taking a vacation from romances. Although prior films featuring me in such characters were successful and may have appealed to producers, audiences now do not accept me in those parts. I’m portraying a general character named Ranagabali who has everything. I think this movie will help me modify my image since I desire one. I just saw the movie and thought the storyline by Pawan Basamsetty was good. The audience will adore it, I’m sure.
He said that despite the failure of his past films, he is not afraid. In no way. I am certain the audience will like the movie.
