Ayurvedic remedies to help you reduce bloating and acid reflux

Ayurveda specialist Dr. Dixa Bhavsar Savaliya revealed three remedies on Instagram that might aid people with acid reflux. She said that using these three ayurvedic remedies for a total of 12 weeks might "decrease excess pitta in your mind and body, which is responsible for reflux and heartburn, and help you settle your acidity problem."

Take some coriander tea to start your day. This requires one glass (300 ml) of water, one tablespoon of coriander seeds, five mint leaves, and fifteen curry leaves. It is then boiled for five minutes, strained, and consumed first thing in the morning.


The digestive benefits of fennel seeds are well established. After every meal, Dr. Savaliya suggested taking a teaspoon of fennel seeds.


The nutritionist suggested drinking rose water at night after consuming coriander tea in the morning. She instructed: "Boil 1 cup of water (150 ml) for 3 minutes, add a few dried rose petals (1 tsp), and wait for 5 minutes. Strain, and drink the rose tea before night (30 minutes before going to sleep)," she added.
