Dental practitioners are advised to use modern technology

Dr. Amit Wadhawan, the director of the SBB Dental College and Hospital in New Delhi, urged dental practitioners to use cutting-edge surgical methods to make their patients smile.

During the two-day ISP-Integrate 2024 event, which highlighted cutting-edge surgical methods in periodontics and implantology, Dr. Wadhawan said that perioplastic surgery represents the most recent development in the area. “This procedure is currently doing miracles when combined with combo treatment. Restorative operations must be used when periodontal therapies are inadequate to restore the teeth to their ideal alignment, form, and color, the speaker said.

Dr. Meet Shah from Surat led a practical session where he showed ways for extracting soft tissue, grafting, and suturing. The participants were able to get invaluable real-world experience under the direction of experts thanks to this interactive workshop. A wide range of people, including physicians, students, professors, and healthcare workers, attended the program. In order to promote a collaborative and learning atmosphere, the participants got the chance to interact with prominent specialists and investigate new developments in implantology and periodontics.

In collaboration with the Indian Society of Periodontics (ISP) Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Study Group, the Institute of Dental Sciences (IDS) hosted the event. Attendees included ISP President Prof. D Gopalkrishnan, ISP Bhubaneswar-Cuttack study group President Prof. Subash Raj, and secretary Prof. Ashish Jain.
