Ahead of the PM’s visit to Qatar, there is an orange warning for Dubai and hailstorms in Abu Dhabi

NEW DELHI: The normally dry environment of Dubai is being disrupted by intense rains and hailstorms, resulting in flooding across the city. Government employees are expected to work remotely until February 13th, and all government schools will continue to provide distance learning.
Red and amber warnings were issued by the National Center of Meteorology to draw attention to the persistently rainy weather.Additionally, hail was seen in a few different parts of Abu Dhabi. The United Arab Emirates is taken aback by this unexpected meteorological occurrence.

Heavy rainfall was recorded in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah, according to local media in the United Arab Emirates. In certain areas of Al Khaimah and Fujairah, streams of precipitation were also forming in the valleys.
Due to excessive rainfall, Dubai’s streets are flooded, making it difficult for automobiles to navigate and leaving some vehicles stuck as a result of overloaded drainage systems.
An orange weather advisory was issued by the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), indicating persistently unpredictable weather over the United Arab Emirates. Early on Monday morning, powerful thunder and lighting frightened the residents of Dubai.
According to the NCM, the current bout of unseasonably warm weather in the United Arab Emirates is caused by an upper air depression, a cold air mass, and westerly air currents that bring with them different degrees of cloud cover from the west.
Numerous safety advisories for vehicles traveling through rain-affected areas have been issued by road and public service officials in each of the seven emirates. In addition, there have been allegations of lightning strikes on the world’s highest man-made building, the Burj Khalifa.
Beginning on February 13, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to go to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for two days. He has been to the UAE seven times since 2015; this visit is his third in the last eight months.
The first traditional Hindu temple in the United Arab Emirates, the BAPS temple will be opened by Prime Minister Modi during his visit. It is located on 27 acres of donated land from the UAE government.
