Capitol Hill Violence: Trump supporters attacking parliament wanted to kill elected officials

Government lawyers of the country have made a big claim in the court regarding the violence in Parliament (Capitol Hill) building on January 6 in America. They say that the intention of the pro-Donald Trump mob in Capitol Hill was to assassinate elected officials. This is stated in the motion filed against Jacob Chansley, an Arizona accused involved in the violence. The lawyers also say that Vice President Mike Pence presided over the meeting a short while ago. Then Chancelle climbed the same platform and wrote a threatening note for Pence.
Trump is being held responsible
The lawyers, while hearing the case in court, also said that justice is going to happen. Talking about Trump, he has been facing opposition from some people of his party along with Democratic Party since the violence in Capitol Hill. Trump supporters entered the building violently when the electoral college votes were being counted here.
It was the same day that the newly elected President Joe Biden was to be handed the certificate of victory. But counting of votes was hampered due to mob violence. Staff members took the ballot box to a safe place. Also, the people present there hid under the chair to protect themselves.
Five people died
After coming to the building, people vandalized, scrambled with policemen, tampered with the belongings kept there and many of them were also seen with weapons in their hands. Five people including a policeman died in the incident. Trump is being blamed for the violence. The opposition party alleges that people have done this only because of Trump's inflammatory speeches.
But Trump has defended his speeches completely. After this incident, the process of impeachment has been started for the second time against Trump. The motion for impeachment has been passed from the House of Representatives, the lower house of Parliament and now further process will be held in the Senate. Along with this, he has also been banned from many social media platforms.
