Deaths from Corona occurred at a record level in Russia within a day after the epidemic, see figures

The corona epidemic in Russia is still at its peak. Deaths due to corona have been recorded at a record level on Thursday. According to Russian government figures, 986 people died in the last 24 hours and 31,299 new corona cases were registered during this period. This figure of people who died of corona in Russia is the highest since the start of the epidemic.

Russia's presidential office, the Kremlin, has blamed vaccination for the rising deaths. He has described the vaccination campaign being run in Russia as slow and has also appealed to the people to vaccinate in maximum numbers.

This happened for the first time in Russia on Thursday when more than 30 thousand new cases have been officially registered here within the last 24 hours.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Tuesday that nearly a third of Russia's population of 43 million, or about 29 percent of the country's population, has been fully vaccinated. President Vladimir Putin has stressed the need to accelerate vaccination rates, but he has also cautioned against forcing people to get vaccinated by administrative pressure.

Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko also issued a scathing warning over the public health crisis in the past. He had said in the cabinet meeting that the incidence of corona in Russia had increased by 16 percent in the last one week and in some areas this increase has been seen by more than 30 percent.

11 percent patients did not get corona vaccine

Along with this, he said that there are about 2 lakh 55 thousand (255,000) beds for corona patients in Russia, out of which corona patients are admitted on about 2 lakh 35 thousand (235,000) beds. Murashko said that 11 percent of corona patients admitted to hospitals in Russia are in critical condition and practically all of them are patients who have not been vaccinated for corona.

Let us tell you that after the Corona epidemic, Russia was engaged in making the Sputnik vaccine last year. Since then, Russia has approved four vaccines.
