Dubai: Princess Haya (46), wife of the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, had ties with her bodyguard Russell Flower (37). He also gave about 12 crore rupees to the bodyguard to keep quiet about their relationship. The Daily Mail has claimed this based on a hearing in a UK court.

The ruler of Dubai divorced her in February 2019 under Sharia law without telling Princess Haya. Haya's bodyguard was married but due to an affair, the bodyguard's marriage broke up. Princess Haya has left Dubai and has been living in the UK for many years.

Haya had filed a lawsuit in a UK court over the custody of the children and the verdict came in her favor. Haya used to give very expensive gifts to her bodyguards which included items such as 12 lakh watch and 50 lakh gun. Haya was the sixth and youngest wife of Dubai's ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
