In the case of corona-like illness, the immune system is weakened, leading to a process called 'cytokine storm' in the body. The effect of which starts on the cells of the body. It is also believed to be the reason for the death of the patient in severe cases.

How does hemp help?

Regarding this, the researcher of Lethbridge University has now claimed that the cytokine storm can be prevented by the elements from the hemp tree. Two chemical interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-a) play a key role in initiating this process. Whose quantity can be reduced by this treatment.

There is an increased risk of ARDS

The purpose of doing this research was also to figure out how to stop the cytokine storm. This is a process that continues in the patient's body even after recovering from the virus. Which can lead to a disease like Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). Which is very deadly. In this disease, the lung tissue may get damaged or even stop working.

Study done on 7 strains

When this research was done to prevent this process, more than 200 strains of cannabis were seen in it. Then there was study on seven. After completion of the research, it has been pre-printed in 'Research Square'. However, its peer review is yet to be done. In this study, three strains have been found in the hemp which are effective in fighting the corona. The strains are named numbers 4, 8 and 14. It is now planned that their test will be done on those patients who are admitted in ICU and are seriously suffering from Corona virus.

About two hours later, at 11.10 pm, the power supply was again restored and in the process of reproduction, the employees came in contact with the poisonous gas. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where five were declared brought dead. Orders have been ordered to investigate the accident.
