A woman whose name was erased from every official record. His ID card, driving license, bank account and health insurance have all become useless. The 58-year-old woman named Pouchain has a battle to prove herself alive. For three years this woman has been struggling for this.
The full name of the woman is Jean Pochen. It was declared dead during a court case, after which the woman has been trying to prove herself alive. The woman had to face a court case due to one of her employees. Pochen owned a cleaning company that employed many employees. In 2000, the woman's company suffered losses, due to which she fired many employees.
Dispute started due to former employee
One of these employees filed a case against Pochen's company. The court, hearing the case, ordered the company to compensate the loss to the employee and be given 14 thousand euros. Since this order was in the name of the company, the employee could not get his compensation amount, after which he asked for tax in another case. The court said in its order that Jean is no longer in this world, so her husband and son will compensate for the loss of the employee.
Actually Pochen did not respond to the court order. He also did not respond to the employee's letters, which is why the court accepted the former Pochen employee's claim that he was dead. The court declared Pochen dead on the basis of these evidences.
It takes fear to go out
Since then, Jean has appeared in court several times to prove herself alive. She is not being considered dead due to her legal battle, but she is still gathering evidence of her being alive. The situation is such that Pochen is afraid to go out now.
She says that she is afraid to go out that there will be no situation in her going out in which she has to use any of her identity cards. If this happens, then she will be stuck badly because after the court has declared her dead, her ID card, license such as identity cards have been rejected.
