Italy's think tank claims: that India's Ukraine policy depends on Russia's role in relations with China

Italy's thinktank Institute of International Political Science has claimed in its report that India's Ukraine policy is dependent on Russia's role in its relationship with China. The stand taken by Russia in the Doklam dispute and the bloody conflict in the Galvan Valley, India is adopting the same stand in the case of Ukraine.
The Italian think-tank said in the report, Russia is important among the countries supplying arms to India. Its relations with Russia have stood the test of time. Russia has always been focused on maintaining the Russia-India-China framework. India has always been opposed to China's stand on its international borders and attempts to unilaterally change it.
The RIC framework plays an important role in the post-conflict dialogue and Russia's attitude towards India is clearly visible in it. Apart from this, the role of Russia in the Central Asia's connectivity policy is also important. India constantly makes efforts to strengthen its relations with Central Asian countries. At the same time, China also keeps an eye on this part. Russia plays an important role in this. The report claimed that due to these advantages from Russia, India has adopted a neutral stance in its Ukraine policy.
